The Easiest Path to Better Posture

Updated: Apr 20

If you spend a lot of time on your phone or at your computer, you probably already know what tension feels like — in your shoulders, your neck, your upper back.

What you might not know is this:You don’t have to stretch it out or “fix” your posture with effort. You can create lasting change by showing your body new ways of moving.

My friend in the photo above is taking the “hard road” when it comes to posture.

He slumps at his desk and constantly looks down at his phone. It’s the road he knows best—the only one he sees on his map.

But if he just turned around, he might notice a different path: one that’s easier, more spacious, and less painful.

In Awareness Through Movement®, we explore different variations of a movement so that our nervous system can recognize new options.

Only then do we have the power to choose the path we want to take.

Experience ease for yourself in our upcoming online class, Awareness Through Movement®: Gentle Shoulder Relief for Better Posture on Sunday, April 27th, at 7pm cst.
